I literally used this juicer for two weeks, as my wonderful wife bought me a brand new Vitamix Blender shortly after I purchased this juicer. I am more a "Smoothie-guy," so this has just been literally sitting in a box in our laundry room. I had to unpack it to take photos, then I repacked the box and as you can see it is all packed and ready to ship in a 12X12X12 box. It is ready to be shipped to your home so you can start juicing! What is OUTSTANDING about this exact L'EQUIP Model 509 Juicer is that it is not anywhere near as loud as every other juicer I have ever witnessed being used! Some honestly sound like a Jet starting up, the blades start to spin at a higher RPM and it does get loud, BUT NOT with the 509! (Read below to find out why!) The other great benefits are two-fold, (1) It does not have to be put-away every time you use it. It can sit on the counter and takes up about as much room as a standard toaster, but even MORE IMPORTANT, (2) It is quick and easy to disassemble and clean - and it's dishwasher safe! Unlike the 221 and 110.5 models of L'EQUIP juicers, the 509 model commercial juicer does not use spinning blades to chop up produce, which is then squeezed to remove the juice. The 509 Visor makes use of a slow spinning, 100 RPMs auger to grind up and squeeze all of the juice from your produce. Lower RPMs means conservation of nutrients and minerals, and less oxidation of your juice.
While some juicers may sound like you are running a weed eater in the kitchen, the L'Equip 509 Visor model is quiet.
